Today's panel will enjoy an extra treat - the deubt of "What Just Happened?"
And what a week it's been.
> Richard Wolffe, msnbc Political Analyst (@richardwolffedc)
> Ben White, Politico (@morningmoneyben)
> S.E. Cupp, NY Daily News Columnist (@secupp)
> Naomi Wolf, Author, "Give Me Liberty" (@naomirwolf)

The show concept is good; however, some people on the panel don't seem to understand that everyone needs to have a chance to speak and not be interrupted. I think SE Cupp is incredibly disrespectful of other panel members; constantly interrupting and yelling over them; snotty/sarcastic/hostile comments during someone else's discussions. She exemplifies what is wrong in politics today. She would do better on Fox News, honestly.
Either SE Cupp learns to be a lady and behave more respectfully towards others; or Alex needs to moderate better.
Until this happens, I don't think I can stand to watch this show any longer.
I'm with you 100%!!! Thanks for posting the comment.
I agree that SE Cupp is a problem for the show.
I understand that the Rightwingers can be true believers and no fact can deter them from their beliefs, but when every single Republican Presidential Nominee is a hypocrite, the true believers have to face the facts and truth. Or, they need to reconsider their core beliefs. That when every republican is not truthful (& consistent) with their statements in comparison with the facts/truth, then none of them should be considered for the higgest office in the world. SE Cupp defends for the sake of defending instead of bringing her reps to the terms of what the office of the President needs.
SE Cupp is just another media person that should be working for FOX instead of working on MSNBC..when a media person (including Michael Steele/SE Cupp) thinks that this presidential race is just like any other and that all tactics used in the past are justified to be used in the now, we as viewers don't get the truth.
The truth is that in the 21century, information (the most valuable commodity) is passed on within seconds of being received by the populace/viewers/listeners/tweeters. So to say that it is okay for Rick Perry, Herman Cain, Romney, Bachmann, & Newt to make up facts for their campaigns is ignorant of the new age of communication of information. Any republican worth their salt would state that these wannbe leaders of the free world are out dated in their ways and means and illustrate how out of their depth the entire republican party is.
They take no responsilibiliy for any of the policies that they have created, supported and passed. SE Cupp needs to take off the blinders, learn something about this new stupid party and call them on their ignorance.
The republicans won in 2010 on the words, "where are the jobs?". That is the dying slogan of the party. "Where are the jobs?"? Creating an environment that might create/sustain a few jobs, by lowering regulation is not the answer that the American people wanted from them - as evidenced by the low 8% approval rating for Congress.
So, either have SE Cupp clean out hear ears, wipe her eyes and learn the wave of the tide that is coming - never assume that the American people are stupid enough to re vote in republicans into the congress when they have not created any new jobs - and that tide is a left wing revolt against the right and a large victory (in house of reps) by the democrats.
High employment would only cost Obama if he had not offered jobs' bills. The American people know better (even though most are mob ruled with blinders). It was George Bush 2 that said, "fool me once shame on you...fool me twice shame on me" (well, okay he short of said it)...the American people will not be fooled again.
Get rid of SE Cupp. Glad you got a show Alex. Goold Luck!

Congratulations MSNBC, you've found a suitable replacement for Pat Buchanan in S. E. Cupp. Surely she knows better that our taxes, our resources, are supposed to benefit all of us, right? Arguing that OWS is entitled to express itself, but, and there's always a BUT, not on the taxpayers' dime is, gee, what's the word, elitist?
She brings this entire panel, and show, way down. Surely there is another foil out there who can argue the right's position in an intelligent and respectful manner.
Alex, pull her now. I'm looking for intelligent discourse, not petulant crybabies.
Agreed.
I have watched her mock and laugh at the other guests- it disgusts me.
Agree, also.
S.E. Cupp is only there to derail the conversation by talking over everyone and lying to your faces (referring of course to the Rick Perry ad). She doesn't respect your show, Alex, and as long as she is there I don't either.
Please...control your panel discussion. Everyone talking at once gives me a headache and I just switch the channel.
Get S.E. Cupp off your panel. She argues and argues, talks over everyone, LIES and then says it doesn't matter. She doesn't stick to the subject at hand and just bashes Dems every minute. She is ridiculous. You want a Republican? I'm sure there is one that can discuss issues. She is ridiculous.
Alex, please control your panel discussion.
Everyone talking at once gives me a headache and I just switch channels to CNN.
What a terrible show! MSNBC is wasting this hour. Get rid of Alex and get someone else. I suffered thru it the first day; watch NOW anymore. I even watched Fox one day instead. Why is she there? Who made that mistake? Get rid of her fast! That sing-song voice and everyone talking at once will send everyone to CNN or somewhere else.
Friday,s panel was a tragedy. S E Cupp has been one two shows and ruined them both. Please don't bring her back.
