Kudos Megan, You did a much better job, you were spot on with your assessment of Newt Gingrich, don't know if you follow Andrew Sullivan, but you could pick up some great vantage points from him. You are a young and up and coming Republican, with a great heart, good family and excellent opportunity to do some good for the Party.
No need to be afraid of talking about the OWS Movment, I know viewers were hard on you last week, just learn what the issue are, don't play dumb and pretend that you don't understand what they want, that makes the PRESS come off as INSIPID, DISINGENUOUS and CONDESCENDING....If you are going to speak for Republicans tell us "WHY" they feel helping the 1% over the Middle Class is a good thing...Explain the "MORAL EQUITY" of keeping taxes low for those making one million dollars a year vs. cutting services to Seniors, Veterans and those Americans who have come into bad times......These are the burning issues of the time
I always notice that John Heilemann does a nice job on Morning Joe with his insights and gets in some great spot-on points --as others do all the interrupting on that program. He has an endearing way about himself. It seems difficult to get a word in, and then Joe seems to demand congruence from everyone. But John impressively holds his own.
And Al Sharpton is articulate on many issues and a gem. It is fun to watch him challenge those imperious republicans on his show. He's instructive, influential and passionate, bringing important perspectives.
I was only able to watch briefly this week, and thought on Wednesday's show that Alex has settled in nicely, with admirable poise, managing at the noon hour. She always did a great job as contributor to msnbc shows--great composure, unequivocally resourceful, and gifted with expressing herself. It is nice to see people distinguish themselves and do so well!
