Excellent Now & Later & always....Why does the Elder gent touch you after mentioning his other favorite pet?

Okay Alex - I like UP With Chris better than your show for now - and wanted to like your show too - but you tend to be quite hesitate and unconvincing of your positions - be a little more forceful and do a little more homework and maybe you will be better prepared to respond with some facts whether right or left! seems you're trying to mimic morning joe and for God's sake we get enough of that three hour panel of fact distortions and right wing babble -

I disagree with gmoney1's comment: There are many political shows with aggressive interviewers/hosts and it is important to have such shows, but it is getting harder for MSNBC to get republicans on their shows because of the tough (and true!) positions of their hosts.

The camaraderie on Alex's show is a breath of fresh air, especially these now - the political discourse has become totally unbearable, unacceptable and unproductive. I want to know what reasonable Republicans think, I believe it is important (even if I disagree with most of their positions). Enough with the personal attacks and childish name calling, let's talk to each other and find solutions to a list of critical national issues that keeps getting longer.
