What will happen in Wisconsin?
Tonight, Gov. Scott Walker will either make history as the third governor in U.S. history to be recalled from office - or become emblazoned as a GOP hero who stood up to unions and Democrats to enact sweeping change that could signal an opening for action by other conservative governors.
And if Scott Walker does hold on to his job, it's expected that Wisconsin, a traditionally "blue" state, could come into play this November - diverting the Obama campaign's attention and cash to avoid further fallout in the Badger State.
Ed Schultz will join us from the ground in Madison during what promises to be another busy day on NOW.

Wondering why Keith Ellison is sending bus loads of Minnesotans to Wisconsin this morning after his rally here.
Maybe to try to counter the documented inequality in funding by the competing sides. I wonder why the Koch brothers funded a bus tour to key cities in the state, and this bus tour "had nothing to do with the recall"?
Why does every msnbc show feel the need to include republican propagandists?
And why the hell won't msnbc allow Ed or someone to EXPLAIN collective bargaining.
Public workers negotiate a portion of take home to pensions and health care. Public workers are not getting rich in their jobs. Teachers in particular make much less than their counterparts with the same education. But when teachers bargain we also keep in mind the needs of the other public employees like the bus drivers, clerical staff, custodial staff.
Walker cuts zillions for billionaires and wants to make it up on the backs of public employees. BS to the republican liar on your show. I AM SO SICK of msnbc giving time to liars.
I realize that Phil Musser has a job to do- recite republican talking points, however he lost the iota of credibility that I was willing to concede to him when he tried to float the idea that there was an equivalent of funding on both sides. I am glad that Ed Schultz called him on it and laughed at the idea that is indeed a 'floater'.
When Phil Musser baseslessly accuses the Obama campaign of "character assassination", he is in fact engaging in character assassination.
hi alex,
i think you are super smart and i enjoy your show. what i dont like is your wardrobe. please get somone to help you. the short blue dress makes you look more like a barbie doll. sorry, take some directiom from andrea mitchell, always very classy. sorry!!!!
Alex, why didn't you or any on your panel, bust Musser when he glibly tried to pass off his talking point that there are more Romney supporters than Obama ones, when it comes to the "direction of the country" poll???
If it's 58% to 33% who believe we are Heading in the Wrong Direction, & he says Obama has the 33% , and even 3 out of 4 of those of the 58% support Romney, as he stated (which I question as well) that still puts Obama ahead, 48% to about 45%! I really wish you wouldn't let these GOP talking heads get away with their sloppiness with the facts!
I am so tired of people saying how much money this recall is costing... I didn't hear any Republican's complaining when the recall for the Democratic senators was going on. And if someone 'like Phil' talks one more time about how the senators 'ran away' I'd ask them if they understand that first, it was their consititutional right to leave, and more so they wouldn't have had to do that if the Governor hadn't tried to push everything through without any discussion. He's been bad from the start. And listening to Phil it's not a wonder that politics is the way it is today. NO ONE can compromise. It's sad.
And no one complained about the cost of trying to "recall" (impeach) President Clinton...
