We knew this was coming.
The Romney campaign is out with a new ad this morning using President Obama's remark that "the private sector is doing fine" as a prime example that he's out of touch with the middle class. It was an unfortunate soundbite, part of the President's attempt at his impromptu Friday news conference to suggest that the unemployment rate has been adversely affected by job losses in state and local government. That distinction, however, has been largely lost as the comment is taken out of context, and attempts by the President's team to clarify the remark have been less than stellar.
We'll break it down, with a whole lot more, at noon ET today.

Great panel today! MORE Eamon Javers please. He makes SENSE!!!
Hey Nicolle...OBAMA was childish? Romney and his team taking three words out of context is ADULT? Criticizing the President about EUROPE while they are in such stress is ADULT? Uh huh.
I am sick and tired with the Republican party...their behaviors are very childish...they like to twist the president words....how about the congress getting back to work...they run in 2010 about jobs and yet they are not doing anything....they are the one holding the country's economy. This only show how Romney is protecting the 1%. The middle class should wake up, either you are REPUBLICAN OR DEMOCRAT - don't everyone see how Romney and the Tea party are going to ditch you to being like the poor people in Africa...people are going to live in slams and that what we are heading now....How about Romney swap place with the middle class for a week and see how it's like.....President Obama has experienced being a middle class family so no doubt he knows how it feels like to be one....let's see you, Romney to be in our shoe.....(middle class)
The GOP's counter to your argument - which I am in total agreement with - is that the House has voted on 34+ jobs bills that are being held up in the Senate. What they don't talk about is that each of those bills is over loaded with amendments relating to Abortion, limiting abortion rights, denouncing equal pay for equal work or opposing violence against women etc .... These are poison pills that never get mentioned.
In addition, look at the 3 Jobs legislation presented by the President in September and October of last year. The GOP Senate blocked them from even coming to a vote ... no one in media talks about that anymore ... when in fact those pieces were proven to save 1M jobs and add an additional 1M jobs; especially with construction workers and their rebuilding 35K schools and bringing them up to the 21st Century.
1M new jobs ... that brings the unemployment rate down to 7% ....
Someone here brought out the point that the Republicans are the blame for the low numbers of JOBS. In 2010, they promised JOBS and since they accuse my president of not keeping his promises, those on the right have been AWOL. They LIED to gain the vote of those who voted for them and after the dust settled they opened the ALEC playbook and started implementing their approved policies. Attacks on women's reproductive rights, voting rights and support the notion that the only thing that is important is defeating my president in the next election.
I blame MSM for not staying on point in emphasizing this issue. I have noticed that some of those in the media are giving Republicans a free pass by not by not calling them on the Lies they keep on telling about the facts. Another thing that is very apparent is this notion that both sides are to blame for the gridlock that exists in the Congress. I strongly disagree!.. I have said it many times that in our quest to keep out those who want to hurt us from outside of this country, we need to look internally at the Republican led Congress who are IMO Domestic Terrorists who put party before country..My president has reached out to the other side but they continue to hold on to this "my way or the highway" policy and to defeat Obama at any cost is despicable....nuff said
