It's not just the Supreme Court weighing mighty decisions this week.
Across the street on Capitol Hill, Congress is considering some major issues. By week's end, laws governing student loan rates and highway funding will expire - issues President Obama has invoked repeatedly on the campaign trail. If Congress fails to act on student loans, the rates will double. Opponents of the bill have raised concerns about the cost of keeping rates low. The highway bill, meanwhile, is getting held up after passage in the Senate over continued squabbles involving the Keystone pipeline.
As if that wasn't enough for a week's work, NBC News has learned that the House vote to hold Attorney General Eric Holder in contempt is slated for Thursday - the same day the Court announces its decision on health care. Needless to say, it's a very busy week in Washington.

Have to give BHO credit...The panderer in chief is "all in" on flouting the rule of law to garner illegal votes. What a morally courageous guy. Never mind the deaths, crime rate and jobs taken by these criminals. Way to support a zero Alex. It takes real guts.a
Dear Troll: Nice touch goin' for the subtle approach!
You do confuse though, remember it was St Ronald of Reagan who, only some 25 years ago singed into law an amnesty for undocumented into law. Is he still a saint?
Dear Doofus, Flouting American law in an attempt to save your hide because of your pitiful job performance only speaks to the lack of character this individual possesses. The murders of American citizens and other various crimes committed by these criminals are wholly preventable if only we did not have morally bankrupt individuals like Hussein Oba,ma pandering.
BTW even Bill of O"Reilly realizes we can't arrest or deport somewhere around 15 million people.
Both parties need to work together for workable immigration reform. remember it was only 2 or 3 years ago that one of the grumpy senators from Arizona actually supported such a course.
How's that Alabama bill workin' out for the farmers?
I'm guessing pretty well for Americans due to rising wages...Eh,genius?
Once again thanks for keepin' it subtle.
Many farmers in Alabama were adversely impacted, because they had nobody to pick their crops. Tyson was forced to close the doors on at least one chicken processing plant.
BTW why do you comment here? Do you really expect to gain converts to your "cause"?
Ken Feinberg said that the compensation of the bailed-out executives from their perspective is "My money mirrors my value, my integrity, my self-worth". Which said, is all about the individual and ego, separating themselves from the rest and forming their own society of their own similarities with mutually self-serving, anti-social ends, and is not limited to just these executives.
Dear Alex[Alexis or Alexandra?]: As usual, I watch you for your incandescently vivacious and perky sense of life, but I must interject: some clarification is needed from you, when addressing Bain Capital's supposed "outsourcing" of jobs...i.e., how did it happen?...If he was reorganizing companies, were they already exporting jobs to China? If not, would that have made Bain's job easier? Doubtful...Can we also get a little balance with regards to Obama's constant bragging about General Motors jobs he created in America, when my sources tell me many of those jobs went to china, instead? Still in love...
Anything they do w/ the student loans will just be a band-aid, unfortunately. The financial structure of the education system in the country needs a miraculous restructuring. I understand that countries with smaller populations can get away with providing college education for free easier, but I certainly shouldn't have to even entertain the thought of moving to Italy to get a cost-conscious higher education.
And when will people learn to stop feeding teh trolls. Don't do it, they slither back to their caves once they get bored, sparing...everyone x3.
My bad!
