Uggh! I feel vomit rising when I hear comments referring to abortion as murder go unchallenged. It is not a matter of opinion. It is a matter of fact that murder has a legal definition that does not include death of a fetus by any means. If a woman or doctor is called a murderer for having a legal procedure, that is slander and should be challenged. Yet Kay Bailey Hutchinson said it over and over and over and not one word of challenge or correction is offered. Sickening. Men and women fought long and hard for this legal right and now a female commentator, (I cannot say journalist) allows this right to disappear before our very eyes. When a woman is forced into a pregnancy she does not want, especially but not limited to cases of rape or incest, the woman is transformed from a person with feelings and opinions and decisions of her own into nothing more than a baby-making machine from the moment she gets pregnant. With friends lix Alex Wagner, who needs enemies?
Um...were all the women of color busy?
If women make equal pay, they would lose their "chattel" status; it appears many women like this station in life; many suffer from the stokholm syndrome.
If women make equal pay, they lose their status as "chattel" we can't have that.
I guess Alex and Kay Bailey Hutchinson also think 3 of Mitt Romney's daughters-in-law are murders since they had invitro fertilization in which some embryos lost their lives.
The Catholic position is similar to the candidate's: God wills life and God wills death, PERIOD. If a woman is raped and becomes pregnant, God expects her to respect His will, and have the child[which she can then put up for adoption, or, can consider the child a Blessing from God, coming out of a horrific event]...Consider this: the perpetrator's life will be spared[with luck, he'll only get ten years, out with five with good behaviour]; the baby will get killed; the perpetrator will then rape again; his life will again be spared; another baby gets killed....THIS is justice in today's world?!
